Kitchen Cabinet Installation
Installing kitchen cabinets — Andy Bell of Handyman Matters shows us how to install base and upper kitchen cabinets. Using standard 30inch base cabinets, he first makes sure the floor is level, and then puts the base cabinets in place. Next he connects the base frames so they look clean and professional, pre-drilling the holes so that the brittle wood doesn’t crack. He makes sure the cabinet faces are flush, countersinks the screws so that they don’t stick out, and connects the base cabinets together. The next step is to find the framing of the house so he can screw the cabinets securely to the wall. Taking doors off before setting the cabinets makes the job a lot easier. Upper cabinets are installed similarly, but require two people to lift the cabinets and hold them in place.

Custom Garage Work Shop Cabinet build and Installation Part 3 of 3 “SECRET COMPARTMENT”
This project took me about 160 hours (about 24/ 8 hour days). It came out nice for my work shop and in all didnt cost me a whole lot of money since I used a bunch of extra material’s and reclaimed hardware. It is too nice to mount a few of my wood working tools on even though I built it to be a wood shop. I am now going to use this space as a work area and future outboard motor repair place and ??? I am now going to reorginize my garage to make room for another work station similar to this using only 2x lumber and plywood. It will be accross from this work station I just built. This is all in fun. I didnt mean for this to be so long and I think it works with out any information because after all a picture speaks a thousand words so a video clip must speak atleast that right??? Thanks for watching, hope it was worth it. Stay tuned for the next work station build……AND MORE…
